In Need of Mushrooms

Baby, oh baby, why are you so frustrated?

I know I can, I know I can, I know I can.

Ok, I've got my foot in, almost there!

Alas, Laurel forgot to eat the magic mushrooms to shrink her body. She really needs to read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

Evidently, Laurel has yet to learn about scale, and what can fit into what. A couple days later, I run to help my whimpering child and find her at it again:

Ok, the door is wide open, I should be able to walk right in and find a seat.

Here goes, umph, hmmmph, uuuugh.

No luck with that side door. Hmmmm, over the top again.

(Notice her tongue, a family trait.)

The back door, that's it! It looks bigger, I know I'll fit this time!

She's quite a trooper, didn't give up for quite a while, despite her mother's fits of laughter.

Boy, do those two look alike! That first picture, for a second I thought it was Ian, and was all set to post something saying "What? No garbage truck??" Then I noticed the pink dress. Um, no, not Ian!

She certainly is a persistent little thing, isn't she??

Two things are for certain: Ian & Laurel are most certainly brother and sister and Laurel makes me smile and giggle....LOVE LOVE LOVE the pics and the commentary :)

How cute! In a couple years, she'll want nothing to do with getting onto a school bus...lol!

That is hilarious! I love how determined she is and how she keeps coming at the problem from different angles (literally!).

Well, you gotta hand it to her. She has persistence! And she looks adorable in pink.

Okay, I am officially in love with both of your children. I thought I could make it past Ian's love of the garbage truck, but Laurel has pushed me over the edge. She is too adorable.

You crack me up - at first when I read your title I seriously thought you were going for psychedelic (sp?) flashbacks...! Now that I see what you've been up to I just KNOW that someday Laurel will see this pix and demand to know why, instead of really coming to her rescue, you opted instead to snap photos and create a storyline for her hilarious predicament.

See how motherhood drives us to cracking up?? *wink*
